Contract Aegis supports PDF uploads and plain text input. When you upload a PDF, the app extracts and renders the full document with clause highlighting directly in the viewer. You can also paste contract text if you receive it as a Word document or email — just copy and paste into the text input. Contracts up to 80,000 characters are fully supported.

Contract Aegis runs entirely on your local machine. Your contract files and analysis results are stored locally in your app's data directory — never uploaded to our servers. The only external communication is the contract text sent to Google's Gemini API for AI analysis, which is governed by Google's API privacy policy. You can use your own Gemini API key for full control.

Yes, absolutely. There are no lock-in contracts. You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings and you'll retain access until the end of your billing period. Your account will then revert to the Free plan. Pay As You Go purchases are one-time and non-recurring. Your local analysis history is always yours — it stays on your machine regardless of plan.
